Rare is the religious magazine whose presentation could be called intriguing.

Behold Geez, which recently scooped the Best New Publication and Magazine of the Year at last month’s Western Magazine Awards.

Conceived by former Adbusters editor Aiden Enns, its mission is to “untangle the narrative of faith from the fundamentalists, pious self-helpers and religio-profiteers.” Geez!

  1. Canadian one of Twenty Artists Worldwide Accepted into Exhibit!

    Hi, I am Margot Cormier Splane, and the news of my next international exhibit is so awesome that I had to share it. Only twenty artists were chosen to participate in the exhibit, out of submissions received from around the world. Fifteen different countries are represented, I am the only artist from Canada accepted into the 7th Annual Art Inter / National Exhibition, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which will run from January 8 to February 2, 2008. I had two hand pulled serigraphs accepted, “Global Warming”, and “Black and White Tourists Visit Egypt”. A collage of artwork being used to promote the exhibit features zebras and a penguin from my serigraph, “Black and White Tourists Visit Egypt”.

    Since 2002 I have participated in 30 International Exhibits, in 7 different Countries. I have also had 25 solo exhibits.
